joint exhibition of Zaza Zakhidov and Zi Kakhramonova within the framework of the ART SPACE BFG project
On September 9, 2023, in the exhibition hall of the Ilkhom Theater, the Bonum Factum Gallery, with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Uzbekistan, opens an exhibition of artists Zaza Zakhidov and Zi Kakhramonova “KUL” based on the results of participation in the ART SPACE BFG project.

The exhibition of Zilola Kakhramonova and Zaza Zakhidov gives us another interpretation of the body as matter. What is for the artist - "matter" and "corporality"?
Matter, according to Aristotle, is a building material. The attitude of a person to his body and the creation of objects around him is the creation of macro and micro worlds. Understanding and studying what a person consists of, one can realize how the system of being is built and functional and understand how the cosmological process goes, where a person is only an energy atom. All natural bodies are composed of substance and form. Some of them are endowed with life, others are not.
"A body is that which has extension in all directions" and "is divisible in all dimensions." Medieval philosophy, based on the idea of the creation of the world by God, considered natural bodies as the embodiment of the divine plan, as a combination of form and matter.
The exposition of the exhibition will feature conceptual works made in various techniques: paintings, textile art objects, as well as digital works of artists.
